Kadolana Vanam

This three-phase joint project with the Rotaract Club of Trincomalee aimed to conserve mangrove ecosystems through education and replanting. It involved a field visit, a seminar, and the planting of 150 mangrove saplings, educating students and community members on biodiversity, coastal protection, and climate resilience. Organised with support from the government and NGOs, it fostered strong community participation, with long-term plans for ecosystem monitoring and scaling to more locations.
