2nd Installation Ceremony

The club's 2nd Installation Ceremony recognised the contributions of outgoing President Rtr. Dulana Nirovin and his 2022-23 board, and marked the official inauguration of incoming President Rtr. Randima Fernando and her Board of Directors for 2023-24. The event was graced by Rtn. Muditha Premathilake (President, Rotary Club of Colombo Port City), Youth Advisor Rtr. Mohamed Salman, District Rotaract Representative Rtr. PP Sathma Jayasinghe, and representatives from various clubs - a testament to the unity and dedication within the Rotaract community.

යාத்RAA (Yathra)

11th & 22nd July 2026

යාத்RAA, meaning "journey," was a two-day interfaith and community service initiative. On Day One, 17 members visited four places of worship across Colombo — Kathiresan Kovil (Hindu), the Red Mosque (Islam), Siri Vajiraramaya (Buddhist), and St. Mary's Church, Bambalapitiya (Christian) — respectfully taking part in each faith's customs, prayers, and blessings. On Day Two, the club extended that spirit of unity into direct community service, visiting CFS Prithipura Home and donating LKR 10,000 to support their care for approximately 250 children and adults with disabilities.

5th Transition Meeting

2026

The 5th Transition Meeting of the Rotaract Club of Colombo Port City marked the official transition of leadership from the outgoing Board to the incoming Board for RI Year 2026–27. The meeting reflected on the achievements of the previous year while welcoming the new leadership team. A key highlight was the ceremonial collaring of the Incoming President, Rtr. Danushkar Pushparajah, followed by the handing over of the Gavel and Club Charter Certificate, symbolising the transfer of leadership. The incoming Board of Officials was then officially announced, setting the stage for a new year of service, leadership, and fellowship.

WAVES (Fellowship Trip)

A multi-day visit to Trincomalee featuring cultural exchange, sightseeing, and networking, aimed at deepening fellowship with the Rotaract Club of Trincomalee. The trip strengthened inter-club relationships and laid the groundwork for joint future projects, with members engaging in shared experiences that fostered unity - though more diverse activities and earlier promotion could boost engagement further.
