Somewhere between last-minute problem-solving, endless curiosity, and a willingness to figure things out as they go, Case File #07 found its perfect pairing. Meet Rtr. Avinash Rajkumar and Rtr. Oshadi Kumaravel , our Directors of Professional Development for the 2026–27 term. One brings an effortlessly calm presence and a knack for being there when it counts, while the other thrives on learning, exploring, and adding yet another skill to an already growing list. Different in almost every obvious way, they come together with the kind of adaptability, reliability, and drive that makes Professional Development the perfect territory for them.
Introducing Rtr. Avinash Rajkumar

Avinash operates at a pace entirely of his own, carrying the kind of calm that makes deadlines, unexpected problems, and questionable situations look significantly less serious than they probably are. Yet beneath that permanently unbothered exterior is someone remarkably dependable. He is the person who will happily help everyone else survive their assignments, take charge of logistics when a committee needs things moving, and genuinely commit once he sets his mind on something. Trouble may have an unusual habit of finding him, but so does the ability to somehow work things out, usually with enough confidence to make everyone else believe the situation was under control all along.
OUTSIDE THE TIMELINE
- His softer side belongs firmly to the four-legged population. Cats and street animals seem to have unofficially claimed him as one of their own, and helping them is something he rarely thinks twice about.
- Between COD Mobile battles, apartment nights, spontaneous plans, and memorable trips with the people closest to him, some of Avinash’s best stories seem to come from simply being around when nothing was particularly planned.
Introducing Rtr. Oshadi Kumaravel

Oshadi seems to have built her life around one simple rule: if she doesn’t know how to do something, she will learn. A move from Business into IT was only the beginning of a skill set that now stretches from coding and committee work to baking, photography, and marketing. She throws herself wholeheartedly into whatever catches her interest, occasionally to the point where signing up for one committee somehow becomes signing up for ten. Yet behind all that drive is an exceptionally sensitive and giving person, the trusted friend who guards secrets without question, cares deeply about the people around her, and somehow manages to balance ambition with a heart that earned her the unofficial “Mother Teresa” reputation among her friends.
BEYOND THE CODE
- When the screens and committees finally take a back seat, baking becomes her reset button. Brownies, cupcakes, and meticulously detailed cakes turn creativity into her favourite form of stress relief.
- Exploring food is practically a second occupation, with cafés firmly established as her natural habitat. At this point, the number of unexplored cafés may be approaching critically low levels.
Different strengths, different personalities, and plenty still left to discover. Avinash and Oshadi now take on Professional Development with the curiosity to keep learning and the willingness to help others grow along the way. Case File #07 may have given away their identities, but their next chapter is only getting started.
