Stepping out from behind the tactical line are Rtr. Sharuka Gengatharan and Rtr. Anjana Nambikandage, the powerhouse duo taking the lead as our Co-Directors of Sports and Recreational Activities for the 2026–27 term. Bringing an electric mix of athletic grit, sharp discipline, and unstoppable drive, they are ready to rally the club and take our game to a whole new level.
Introducing Rtr. Sharuka Gengatharan
Sharuka is pure, infectious energy, warm, bubbly, photogenic, and an incredible dancer who wipes away any awkward barrierthe second she welcomes you in. But make no mistake: the moment work starts, she flips the switch into a strict, no-nonsense disciplinarian where time means TIME, and late arrivals receive a very swift reality check. She’s the rare operative who can light up a dance floor, secretly out-study everyone as a total academic nerd, and push through any obstacle with fierce, unbreakable resilience.
Off the Dance Floor
- Strict 9:00 PM DND lock protocol (good luck reaching her before sunrise), spontaneous vlogs whenever left unattended, and an absolute boycott of chocolates and sweets in favor of pure milk.
- Beneath the playful banter lies an uncompromisingly loyal anchor who will unhesitatingly throw hands to protect her friends, bounce back from any breakdown, and move mountains for the people in her corner.
Introducing Rtr. Anjana Nambikandage
Serving as the club’s personal surveillance tower, Anjana is a walking paradox who defies every standard operative profile. On paper, he’s a formidable force: a seasoned MMA fighter who can take on formidable opponents (even if he occasionally manages to break his own leg in the process), and a powerhouse swimmer rumored to be capable of crossing entire oceans for the right person. Yet, catch him off the field, and you’ll find an elite baker whose dangerously addictive homemade cookies are currently under close observation by our intelligence unit.
Gloves Off
- An undercover chatterbox, he views silence as a personal challenge and will effortlessly talk for three hours straight without losing an ounce of momentum.
- Beneath the jokes, the endless banter, and the fighting stance is someone with an extraordinarily protective streak. He runs continuous background checks on his crew, discreetly monitoring everyone's well-being.
