Identity Files: The Pen and Pan Agent & The First-In Agent

Case File #11 has been under the microscope for a while now, and today, finally, it’s their time to shine: two quiet operatives, both far louder in skill than they ever are in conversation. Behind the scribe, crafting every caption and every story this club puts out for 2026–27 are Rtr. Amna Thanzeel and Rtr. Nuha Riwaz, our new Co-Editors.

Introducing Rtr. Amna Thanzeel

Knowing Amna means knowing two conflicting sides. On the first meet up, you'll find her reserved, quiet, someone who claims to be a full-on introvert. While that is true, the more you get to know her, the more confused you'll be by the things she does that are anything but introverted. She'll quietly sign up for a poetry recital (that she probably will drag you into as well), a club event, or anything else slightly outside her comfort zone, without hesitating much.

She topped her class in English Literature, writes poetry like it's the language she was born speaking, and somehow also cooks and bakes at a level that has everyone insisting she owes Sri Lanka, an appearance on MasterChef. There's a catch, though, it would have to be as a judge, not a contestant, because contestants get critiqued, and critiquing Amna's food would be the first crime committed on set. So, when a chef this good tells you pasta and noodles are the best food to exist, you agree 100% and wait patiently for a dinner invitation. (I will share the link to sign up for that opportunity)

But sadly, that energy only exists in the kitchen. Physical activity and her are two total opposites, and the second, a sport gets mentioned or you ask her to go on a stroll, she evaporates.

Between the Pages and the Pan

  • She'll take a while to let people in, but once she's decided you're worth it, she will whole-heartedly and fiercely be in your corner, no half measures.
  • Her obsession with anime started back in school but it is still an active hobby of hers whenever university allows her the time. You should see the way her eyes light up talking about it. She knows it like it's a history book she's memorized.
  • She is a huge fan of cats but the sight of a lizard or dog will send her out of space.

The first time I saw Nuha, she was in her element. On stage, with a microphone in hand, commanding the room with that strong voice of hers. I was mesmerised by her confidence and stage presence. So you can imagine my shock, when I met her and found out, her personality to be the complete opposite. She didn’t have the loud personality I expected, She had a quiet one, the kind that doesn't need noise to prove anything.

Nuha was the Prefect Council President in school, which is not shocking at all. She treated the job less like a burden and more like the stage she'd been waiting for. Give her any task to do and it comes back done, exactly as you wanted, ahead of time, with zero reminders required. She is the first person to arrive at literally anything. She lives to prove that "the early bird catches the worm" is a personality trait, not just a saying. A trait we all hope to absorb.

Because she is this sharp, she notices everything from moods, mistakes, any small details that everyone else might miss will not fly past her radar unnoticed. Which is great, usually, but it’s such a bummer when you try to prank or surprise her. She'll clock the plan before you even start the plan. I know Doctor Strange would be proud of her.

Behind the quiet exterior

  • She is a walking database. Basically, Google in human form with just better manners and perfect results. Ask her about anything and she either already knows the answer or knows exactly who to redirect you to.
  • She's suspected of running a secret second career as a restaurant owner, given how often you will catch her mid-shift as a professional midnight dishwasher with so much evidence but zero explanation.

Between Amna's pen and pan and Nuha's radar for absolutely everything, this club's stories are in the hands of two people who've already proven exactly what they're capable of. With talent, dedication, and heart like this leading the way, it's shaping up to be one incredible year. Welcome to the Board, Rtr. Amna and Rtr. Nuha, we're so glad to have you.

And with that, Case File #11 is officially closed.
